Ask God: God has so much in store for those who seek Him. Our minds cannot comprehend the things God wants for us if we will only follow Him and trust Him. "Without faith it is impossible to please Him." Begin today to do the work God has in store for you. James said, "So faith without deeds is dead." Good Evening Reader, I truly hope God blessed you each and every day. Today we discuss vision; God's vision for you. Seeking God vision will open a whole new world to you. The best part is knowing that God is beside you each step of the way. God Bless. Elvin Using Vision to Do God's Will Vision Allows God to Give Direction to Our Lives The Bible teaches us that vision is very important in the life of a believer. Vision helps us see beyond where we are right now. It allows us to look ahead and understand what God desires to do in and through our lives. Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish." Without vision, it is easy to lose direction. People drift, even believers drift, instead of moving with purpose. Drifting creates an uncomfortable feeling because there is nothing to hold onto. Think about a traveler walking through a thick forest. The trees are tall, and the path is hard to see. Every direction looks the same. Without a map or guide, the traveler may walk in circles and never reach their destination. That is what life feels like without vision. Now imagine that same traveler climbs a hill and can suddenly see above the trees. From that higher place, the path becomes clear. The traveler can see where to go and what to avoid. Vision works the same way in our lives. It lifts us above confusion and helps us see clearly. When God gives us His vision, He shows us where we are going. Our daily choices begin to have meaning. We are no longer just reacting to life. We are moving with purpose, which feels really good. Life becomes fun and full of adventure. Vision keeps us from becoming bored. It breaks the feeling that every day is the same. Vision fills us with hope and direction. By following God's Word, the Holy Spirit leads us step by step into the life God has planned for us. It is then that we clearly hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. The Vision from God Reveals His Will Vision is not something we make up on our own. True vision comes from God. Habakkuk 2:2-3 says, "Write the vision, and make it plain… For the vision is yet for an appointed time… though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come." This teaches us that God makes His visions clear, and He brings them to pass in His time. Joel 2:28 also tells us that God speaks through visions and dreams. Joel tells us that God will pour out His Spirit on everyone, and the young men shall see visions. "And it shall come to pass afterward Visions and dreams are two ways in which God communicates with believers. Think about a young builder who is given a set of blueprints for a house. At first, all he sees is paper with lines and dimensions. It does not look like a home yet. But the designer who created the plan already sees the finished house. Every wall, every door, every detail is already decided. As the builder studies the blueprint and follows it step by step, the house begins to take shape. What once looked unclear becomes real over time. Vision works the same way. God is the designer, and His will is His plan. Vision is the blueprint He places in our hearts. At first, we may not understand everything. But as we trust Him and follow what He shows us, His plan becomes clearer. Often, God does not give the full vision at one time. He desires that we walk in faith. "For without faith it is impossible to please Him" (Hebrews 11:6). Fixing our eyes on God's vision allows us to walk in the will of God. God's will is His plan for our lives. Many believers ask, "What is God's will for me?" Vision is one way God answers that question. It paints a picture in our hearts and leads us step by step into what He has already prepared. Walking in God's vision is exciting. Vision Helps Us See God's Plan for Our Lives Without vision, we only see what is right in front of us. We see problems, limits, and fear. But with vision, we begin to see what God sees. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you… plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." God already has a plan; He knows our future. Vision is how God begins to reveal that plan to us. So often, we consciously and even subconsciously put a glass ceiling above our heads that keeps us from progressing with God. Our cocoon feels safe and comfortable, and we become hesitant to move beyond the limits we have set for ourselves. God's plan for our lives does not call for us to become dormant. Vision allows us to see beyond the glass ceiling and gives us a compass to follow. Think about a person standing at the edge of a large valley early in the morning. A thick fog covers everything below. From where they stand, they cannot see the road, the river, or the town on the other side. It all feels uncertain. They may even feel stuck because they cannot see where to go. But as the sun begins to rise, the fog slowly lifts. Little by little, the path becomes visible. First, a small section appears, then more of the road, and then the full direction becomes clear. The valley was always there. The path was always there; it was just hidden for a time. Vision works the same way in our lives. God's plan is already established, but He reveals it step by step. He does not show us everything at once. He gives us enough light for the next step. As we walk with Him in faith, more is revealed. Over time, we begin to see clearly where we fit into His will and how He is leading us forward. It is only after the journey is complete that we can look backward to see how the dots were connected. It is then that we can fully comprehend how God has worked in our lives. Vision Moves Us to Action in God's Will When God gives us His vision, something changes inside us. Our thinking begins to shift. Our focus becomes clearer. Our actions begin to line up with God’s vision for us. Vision is not just something we see in our minds. It becomes something that shapes how we live each day. Think about a young apprentice who has just been shown the design of a finished project. Before seeing the design, he may have worked without clear direction, doing small tasks that felt disconnected. But once he sees the finished plan, everything changes. He starts asking better questions. He pays closer attention to details. He begins to work with purpose because he now understands what he is building toward. In the same way, when God gives vision, our lives begin to move with intention. If God places a vision in your heart to teach His Word, you will naturally begin to study more. You will pray for understanding. You will look for opportunities to share what you are learning. What once felt ordinary now feels meaningful because it is connected to God's direction. First Corinthians 12:27 says, "Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular." This means every believer has a specific place in God's work. Vision helps us discover that place. It answers important questions like, "What has God called me to do?" and "How can I serve Him?" Our gifts, talents, and experiences are not random. They are tools God places in our hands. Vision turns those tools into action, and action into purpose. Vision Grows Through Faith, Prayer, and Patience Vision is not something we receive once and forget. It is something we must hold onto, nurture, and grow over a period of time. God often plants a vision in our hearts like a seed. At first, it may seem small, fragile, or even unclear. But as we walk with Him, that seed begins to grow. There will be times when the vision feels far away. There will be delays, closed doors, and moments of doubt. In those seasons, it can feel like nothing is happening. Yet Habakkuk reminds us, "though it tarry, wait for it." God's timing is not rushed, and it is never wasted. What may feel like waiting is often God building strength, character, and trust within us. Think of a farmer planting a seed in the ground. After planting, he does not see immediate results. He waters the soil, waits through seasons, and trusts that something is happening beneath the surface of the ground. Even when the ground looks unchanged, growth is taking place. Prayer is the water that keeps vision alive. As we spend time with God, we begin to hear His voice more clearly. John 10:27 says, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." Vision grows as we learn to listen and follow His guidance, step by step. So vision is not only about seeing the future. It is about knowing God more deeply. The closer we are to Him, the clearer His direction becomes. As we remain in God's presence, our relationship with Him grows more intimate each day. Then, we know how to ask in accordance with His will, and when we ask anything in His will, we know He hears our prayers. As we pray, study His Word, and wait in faith, God shapes our vision. He leads us forward in His timing, and we learn to walk confidently in His will. God is Calling You to His Vision For You God has a vision for our lives, and He wants us to see His vision. He wants us to ask Him to show us His vision. When we are faithful in the small things, He expands the vision, and we get to do greater things for God. The invitation to you and me is the same as the one given through the prophet Jeremiah: "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know" (Jeremiah 33:3). We do not know all that God has in store for us. We truly can't conceive or imagine the glorious things God wants to do in and through us. Stay tuned. God is showing us His vision. Elvin PS.
